So, just to get the post written from my own personal Great Depression off the top of the site, thought I would post a quick update. I'm no less busy than I have been but the interesting thing to know is that my work has been noticed. I was award Employee of the Month at Mindbody for August! This is no small feat; there are at least 120 people who work at Mindbody, and everybody who has won it since I've been on board (April) has been working there for at least 2 years, I did it in 5 months; not bad.

Bad news everyone. Not unpredictably, Austin has resigned from our venture. It's another sign, in a long series of signs, that our little enterprise here is crumbling.

Finally managed to complete the switch to the new server completely, by finally getting the subversion jail up and running. There are some instructions in the forums about what to do with your subversion tunnels, but other than that, seems everything has gone off without a hitch.

The move to the new webserver is going very well. I seem to have made the transition without any major misteps so far! If you're seeing this, it's running on the new server, and I must say, I do notice a speed difference!
Please let me know about stuff that's broken in the comments, and I will fix it ASAP.

I have a new content type Mindmap working now! You can create mindmap .mm files in Freemind and put them here on the site for other people to look at online via the Freemind java applet. It's pretty slick.
Couple of notes: do not put spaces in the filename for the .mm file. It's a problem with the java applet. I'm also not sure how or to whom we want to make mindmap nodes available; post a comment if you have an idea. For now, I'm just going to make a big list on the employees site.

For those of you who care, I have completed the Art Asset workflow system. You can create either normal Tasks or Art Assets from Create Content. Art Assets have an 8-phase development system, with individual assignees for each stage. To move an art asset along, go to the Art Asset from the Dev List, and then Edit it. Change the phase to the appropriate setting and it will show up in the proper person's My Tasks page.

We've kicked off work on the new scenario! However, we are short on committed writers. The new scenario is designed to be easy to write and create, which is good, and if we lose writers mid-way we're still good, but we still need writers that we can have some dependence on. We'll be working against deadlines this time, but you will have the advantage that nobody else will be holding up your work, unlike all our previous work where each writer's work was heavily intertwined with other people's work. No exuses!

So, as the astute people among you have noticed, I've been making a lot of progress on upgrading and enhancing the website. Session sharing between Drupal and the Forums is pretty slick (and I did get the forums working again, BTW, you can post new topics again).
