The Dev List
Some of you might have noticed a few new options in the Employees Only menu along with the new redesign. The REALLY important one of these is the Dev List. I'll be posting "tasks" for everybody. You can use the filters on the page to pare it down to stuff that matters to you. There are also a lot of "Unassigned" tasks- if you need something to do, search for those, change the status to Assigned and put your name on it.
Each task supports a threaded comment system, so you can ask questions and report status directly on the task. The "Acceptance Test" field is for the person ultimately responsible for signing off on that task, that it is done and up to snuff. When you think it's ready, make sure it's checked into SVN and alert the acceptance tester. Leave a comment, and set the status to Acceptance Testing, which is really QA. We might add another state for Peer Review before it gets there, we'll see.
Check the Dev List out. It is now one of the most important tools we have on the site!
