Project Make It Pretty

So the AI stuff is crunching away, ships are moving better but not quite right, and the mission handling is also under way. Right now, I'm pushing Project Make It Pretty. Alot of the code to make it pretty is already there. Yesterday, I added the capability to have fat stacks of engine flares, which will go a long way to making it pretty (looks awesome with the turn jets, BTW). We're going to need to get the particle editor integrated into the greater editor sooner rather than later, though, so that we aren't using smoke contrails for ion engine flares.

The artists are going to need to step up in order to make Project Make It Pretty happen as well. Looking for some nice skins for at least a few ships, some animations, and some interfaces if we can get them. The goal of Project Make It Pretty is to have the first screen and system you enter look slick and polished. I can go to the publishers and further our venture financially with that. Even if this thin veneer fades away after the first jump, it should be enough to convince them that "This is what it will look like when it's done, give us money/IP/continued negotiations/etc."

Other than that, I guess we need to start Project Restart Writers. Austin, are you out there anywhere in that great net-void? I need you back, man! I have Roscoe as a roomate now, (for at least a little while), I just need somebody to hold his reins.
