CWS Computing was founded by Mac Shaughnessy and Charlie Sibbach because of our frustration with the local availability of affordable computing parts and products. We found it impossible to find a place to buy a normal, non-LED-encrusted, standard fan in either San Luis Obispo or Morro Bay, without feeling like we had just been to a proctologist. We set out to remedy that situation, and provide a local shop for computer enthusiasts, by computer enthusiasts. Our goal is to provide a local store that can compete with the Internet- except you can get what you need today, not next week. We can't stock everything you can get on the Internet, but we do stock some of everything you need. We know what you need because we've needed it ourselves, and we stock only the best bang for your buck. Products we would be proud to put in our own systems- and do. We also want to provide value-added services that you can't get from the Geek Squad. We wanted to build custom systems for people and add our own professional touch to them, using skills your tech-savvy nephew just doesn't have, and give you a system you'd be proud to take to a LAN party and show off. We also want to offer unique services you won't find anywhere else, such as warranties on custom configurations and system documentation and tracking services.
