Our freshest pick here at the Greenhouse is the RPG-inspired strategy title Hinterland available for Windows! Your goal is to lead a small colony of settlers, gradually building up your village and custom-built party as you journey through this exotic, fantasy-world setting. Explore the Hinterland and conquer its inhabitants, stay at home and peacefully expand your settlement, or adventure somewhere in between – it’s up to you.

Who made it? Developer Tilted Mill, formed in 2001 by a few experienced developers who dreamed of having their very own studio. We’re so excited to be able to showcase their work here at Greenhouse and invite you to check them out here.
-The Greenhouse Team

We’ve made some changes here at Greenhouse to make your indie gaming experience even more fun and engaging. Beginning with Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode Two, Greenhouse titles can now offer you cool, new in-game rewards and Greenhouse community recognition – called ‘triumphs’ and ‘standings’.

As you play a game enriched with Nitrogen, you’ll start earning triumphs and the next time you log into your Greenhouse account, you’ll see them reflected on your profile card (that little box in the upper right-hand corner of the web page) and in your community standings here. Check out our special Nitrogen forums for more info on current and future plans for Greenhouse games.
