Getting an office (and mandatory game making time)!

I posted this in the forums first, but figured it would be better as a blog post.

Looks like I'm going to be starting sort of a side business with a friend of mine doing Networking and PC Repair, with maybe some hosting, web development, etc. on the side. The upshot is that I'll be able to create something on the order of 2 hours a day where I have nothing to do except work on the games portion- that's built into the whole plan. My partner will be doing most of the normal repair work, with me just doing the heavy-duty stuff. The repair and networking work will pay for the office and a lot of development equipment- I'll be able to get my servers out of my garage and save $50/month on electricity.

This will also give us local guys a meeting place- somewhere you can come and be pretty much surrounded by games, and always have a fully prepped development console at hand, so we can burn some midnight oil, as they say!
